Why most Costa Rica trips disappoint

I moved to the Puriscal region of Costa Rica in 2021. Not to a tourist town — to a remote, authentically Costa Rican community where the pura vida isn't a slogan, it's just Tuesday.
I came for the nature. I stayed for the people and the culture.
